The Wild has lost like 7 1st round appearances in a row. They want Quinn to re-sign and they want to trade for a center. If they lose in 5 to Dallas, it could fall apart
Add the Dallas Stars to that list 3 seasons in a row getting the the WCF. Now with a new coach if they don’t make it there the fan base will be asking questions.
Might not be the “most” to prove, but buffalo is a solid answer. I think it would be one thing if they squeaked in the WC after 14 years, but they gotta win at least one series to prove this isn’t a fluke, especially after the tear they’ve been on. Imagine they lose in 6 or less games after the year they’ve had, would’ve a disappointing end even tho they broke the streak right?
the Sabres have lots to prove, Primarily that they can compete as a playoff team. Colorado has nothing to prove, they've literally been one of the best teams in the league for years.
