I have rarely wanted someone to be wrong more than I want your predictions for the Jackets to be wrong. The only saving grace if they miss play offs this year is that in theory next season they will have the same coach all season which will hopefully keep things from the second half of this season going.

I love this podcast, but I'd say you guys are incorrect about Columbus.
You said last year they lost steam at the end. The opposite could not be more true. At the end, they were winning all of their games and slowly climbed the ranks to become the 1st team below the wildcard spots. The final nail in the coffin as for why the didnt make playoffs is because Montreal won their last game.
Furthermore, because of their play and success at the end of the season, what they were at the start of this season is the COMPLETE opposite of what they were like ending last year.
Only now, with a new coach, are they starting to show they can win like they used to.
Combined with the fact that there was a severe lack of players even mentioned, and it was just a small conversation about points, I'm not convinced you guys actually watch Columbus game.
