Great interview with Current Future Islander Robert Thomas!
The one guy I wasn't willing to part with last week, at least before I heard all the Parayko stuff (I don't live in STL so I didn't realize how connected he is with the city).
With everything happening in Hockey this weekend I'm actually impressed they are talking about the Sharks and Isles game this weekend. That was poorly officiated all the way around.
Pietrangelo didn't leave over a no trade clause. The contract issues were around a no MOVEMENT clause and massive signing bonus money. Those are 2 things STL doesn't give out. Only time they have signing bonus money is ELC's or contracts acquired via trade.

Yeah, Wysh, except last game vs TB Buffalo chased Vasy with 5 goals on 10 shots.
Kesselring has been playing hurt all season. When he gets healthy it's an easy win for Buffalo.
Do you guys pay attention at all? Buffalo STILL isnt healthy. Once they are, they have far better depth than any need to call up Rochester players.

I feel like the “yet” for Robert Thomas is if the blues truly tear down and he feels like they don’t have hope. As a blues fan I don’t think we’re there yet. We’re still in this longer retool but have a ton of young players to be hopeful about.
