handed Colorado their worst loss of the year (they lost a few 7-3 but none by 5 goals!) Gotta be a good boost going into the last dozen games of the season.
This game was a perfect example of how every team has good bad and ugly periods within a game. Colorado was this team. They aren’t terrible there defensive players made many mistakes so did there offensive players it’s hockey 13-10 Colorado is in last 23 games. Pens played well throughout with bits and pieces not so good just like any team. The powerplay penalties they gave up were not good but fortunately they weathered that part well. Great goaltending It’s the penguins biggest strength one every team would love to. Anytime of the year but especially down the stretch.
Anyone who doesn't love this Penguin team hasn't been watching the last 3-4 years…these guys are good !…and we have depth…we have an elite Dman, wingers who can score, solid centers, and very good goaltending…oh did I mention top 5 PP AND PK…if we get in to the dance, we are going far
Was listening to you talk yesterday about how you were fearful, that something was horribly a miss with the Penguins. I was disappointed to say the least. I know there have been some moving parts recently, but they have run over some of the top teams in the NHL for loooong stretches. you have to look at the teams slipping out of playoff spots too. Yeah CBJ could catch us… but by seasons end either DET or BOS wont be there at all, and if MTL hits a cold streak or a tough part of the schedule, they could be in the same boat. Hell the conference is so tight, even TBL with a bit of bad luck could slip out. Wont happen, just sayin.
