You guy know Allvin take over soon. This year picks are key to his long time job. He must think D first to any rebuild. Verhoeff is the guy. Second pick must be best player as a wing or center . 3rd pick back to top LD 4 fick best checking FWD . 5 th good power player r. 6 Tough D player 7 pick best keeper 8 trade for Landen Hoockey.

Here's what happens, Canuck drop to 2nd overall pick and take Stenberg, Alvin drafts more Swedes rounds 2-7 as well. Canucks finish 32nd five years in a row and keep the same algorithm with Alvin at the helm with 0 improvement until Alvin is finally fired. It's now 2032 and a new gm gets hired who starts to make better decisions. Search your feelings you know it be true 😢

Matt and Blake, do we have an explanation from the Canucks as to why there is no news or prospects on a practice facility?
I fully agree with Blake. Matt is using a very old playbook. There was a really good article by Drance that basically states the best chance for the Canucks winning the Stanley Cup is to have at least one semi-generational player and another all-star. The only way you get these players is through the draft. The best chance to get these players is at the top of the draft. The best chance is for the next couple be last or close to last.
only young players in this rebuild no 30 somethings or close to it, if the Canucks can get rid of EP40 if possible do it
