  1. Well said, its never pretty with this roster. Lets take the 2pts and move foward… LGI!!!!!! Also, if anyone sees Schenn, let him know its time to hit the on switch!!!

  2. Was there tonight great 1st period .. 2nd was good .. 3rd period they just let off the gas . Take the 2 points

  3. Gil CZ sets the tone with a great hit and then a greasy goal in the mixer before getting hammered by the Flames monster defenseman. You take a win. Schenner with a feather pass to Holmstrom. They out hit Flames 22-9. Pens have 2 games in hand behind by 1 point right now. Brutal schedule ahead.

  4. ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ™๐ŸŽ‰ no room
For error with The Pens and Jackets. We are duking it out. We should make the playoffs either in 2nd , 3 rd, or wild card spot. If we can win a roundโ€ฆ. Well that is to be determined. Good to see Big Save Dave get the win and only let in 2. Come on Schaefer!!!!! We need 4 goals you can do it! Would love to see Aitcheson on the right side d playing with Romy 3 rd string D next season. Only thing is it will be difficult to see a 6 million plus Romy on the 3 rd D pairing at that price but our D next season could be our biggest Asset! Also would prefer Darche not trade away any assets picks or prospects. Watch The Rangers go all in on Jason Robertson. Grrrrrrrrr

  5. I know it was only a win by one goal, but had Calgary not put Wolf in the net the final could have easily been 2-5. Solid win to get back on track, LGI!

  6. Coaching coaching coaching how many times have you said, correctly, that the team was flat. This team almost never ever plays a full 60 minutes or really even close, he downplays playing a full 60 minutes almost never talks about it at least in the media in his introductory press conferences or one of the very first ones he talked about well if you have a bad first period or first two periods that doesn't mean that all is not lost yeah(the not playing part) that should be the very rare exception and not the rule this is this team's rule and you cannot win like that in the playoffs playoff teams especially after the first round they're about details and playing a full 60 Minutes, that is their baseline that is why with him his coach even with better personnel I mean he had McKinnon and Landeskog, etc and he couldn't get out of the first round with him as coach I don't think we'll ever win more than a round Darche does help him but that's his ceiling and we sure as shit aren't gonna win a cup. We need John Cooper next year or Barry Trotz if he would come back and coach ever. Standards, culture.

They showed in the pregame show that we are one of the top teams in the league coming back and we still only win a third of those games that's how rare doing that successfully is and as Horvat said it's a grind that will take a toll as we go forward and into the playoffs if we get there. He does some decent things I get it the resilience but a lot of those players have been there since Trotz and even with Lambert they've had that resilience of coming back quite a bit. and there are other negatives I could go into with Roy like being detached from reality a lot making excuses even though he says he's trying not to make excuses and that permeates the team and they know that they have somewhat of a soft standard to live up to and they can let up at times and don't think that that's not part of the reason that Nelson didn't resign even though it was a good idea for him to go given his age but he saw him clearly wasn't gonna win a cup with his team had Trotz been able to stay we would've already won a cup in my opinion with Cooper in the next three or four years if not sooner. And we'll get some improvements in the personnel but so much is made of that look at Trotz years, personnel wasn't an amazing and where we got in the improvement that we had in the first year going from worst particularly defensively and shaving off 100 goals that first year getting home ice in the first round of the playoffs, basically the same personnel as the previous one under Weight minus Tavares. Will, standards, and culture.

  7. Not gonna fly in the playoffs we'll get we will get our asses kicked if this continues and it's been the story, the mentality and the culture, the whole year and longer, so it would have to be quite a turnaround. A team doesn't have weak non-playoff teams to beat up on as it is we almost lost against St. Louis and have struggled against others that we should beat or dominate if you wanna make the playoffs and be a factor, especially this late in the year. some or most of the players have a higher standard than the coach does he listen to the post game interviews many of them will acknowledge reality the coach will not but again that summer most or even if it's all when human nature creeps in and they want to slack they can because there's no coach to keep them true to a vision and a direction and a standard Roy every now and then we'll say winning is the standard but more often than not he will say the standard is to play good hockey and during a loss says we played well if you didn't win you did not play well enough and there were even coaches in all sports even if they win they say their shit that needs to be worked on he's happy with how the team played in a loss this is not an expansion team where yes they just need to start the ingredients of learning how to play and win so basically starting with the ingredients of a cake in order to make the cake. Yes process is very important but if your process is not good enough to yield wins your standard is not nearly high enough as far as that process for the ingredients that go into it.
