The CJ Alexander Buck situation explained

  1. Definitely great deer and cj looks like a nice guy but why someone go in a woods with out taking a cellphone with them when everything is on your cellphone(maps, wind direction, time, taking pictures, emergency calling, light If your light died, calling his ride cause he was dropped off that day ) that’s a little odd, I personally will never go in a woods without my phone even if it’s my old spot specially the afternoon sits.

  2. I'm convinced laws requiring written permission only exist as a way for the state to arrest hunters that did nothing wrong

  3. Leave that man alone, damn that 📃 paperwork, those gotdamn 👮‍♀️ 🚓 👮🏿‍♂️ cops better give his equipment back, that man was on his sister's property 🤨

  4. I have been talking with CJ since this started..

The picture of the buck confirms his far back hit on the buck which caused him to track it the next day.

The DA is “trying” to pursue charges in criminal court with the help of the DNR this is mainly because it is “believed” he poached the deer that “sources” say the DA or his family member was after.

CJ has written permission to hunt the family’s land. Although reasonably if he didn’t his family would say I told him he could hunt, then it would come down to should you have to get a slip for your family’s land if you can call them up and confirm for the DNR?

Just recently there has been no action in criminal charges, they did however try to take him to Civil court to try to have him forfeit his home.

The reason they have stretched to civil is they have no incriminating evidence that a jury would reasonably convict or even think he’s guilty. In civil court they are trying to make it a dispute between the DA and CJ. The other issue is that in civil cases less jurors need to agree.

  5. point is no proof he shot deer on his sister land wen entering a record deer u need all forms singed he could of shot it on private land without permission and in Ohio's deer laws if your hunting on non public land beside your own u need to have section #24 written out by land owner even if its your sisters land

  6. CJ Alexander Indicted on 23 Criminal Charges After Shooting What Could’ve Been the Third-Largest Record Whitetail Ever

The charges include illegally hunting deer without written permission, hunting without a license, tampering with evidence, jacklighting, theft, and more

  7. heres the truth
After he killed what may have been one of the largest whitetail deer of all time last fall, Ohio resident Christopher “CJ” Alexander has been indicted on 23 charges as a result of an Ohio DNR investigation, the agency confirmed with Outdoor Life. The news is the latest installment in the CJ Alexander saga, which began in November when Alexander killed the giant deer, then gave interviews with hunting publications, including OL, about how he allegedly took the 18-point buck while hunting with a crossbow on his sister’s 30-acre property in Ohio. This version of the story was thrown into question in December when the Ohio DNR seized the buck and opened a poaching investigation.

“Wildlife officers discovered through warranted searches of cellphone data that Christopher Alexander had illegally hunted the trophy buck on private property about 10 miles from his sister’s land, and later learned that the written permission from his sister he had presented to wildlife officers had been falsified — after the deer was killed — to mislead authorities,” reads a press release from the Ohio attorney general’s office, which details the indictment that was handed down by a Clinton County grand jury Friday. “Evidence revealed Christopher Alexander staged the deer taking at his sister’s property with the help of Corey P. Haunert and his brother, Zachary R. Haunert, to conceal the poaching.”

The charges facing Alexander, 28, of Wilmington, are as follows:

Five counts each of illegally hunting deer without written permission, and taking possession of a deer in violation of a division rule.

Three counts of theft by deception.

Two counts each of hunting without a license, hunting without a valid deer permit, and tampering with evidence.

Once count each of jacklighting, theft, falsification, and sale of wildlife

  8. Definitely too much jealousy too many gay people hunt now not enough men real men, but he did take it illegally without a license and he did it on property. He didn’t have permission and moved the deer

  9. He didn't kill it on his sisters land he killed it 10 miles away from his sisters property on land he didn't have permission to hunt . It was poaching ! He should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law period!!!

  10. Yes it was taken unlawfully. Dude shouldn't have done it. The two crime is that they deducted 30" from him bc the G3 tine ties into the very very very bottom of the G2 tine instead of directly into the mainbeam on the right antler. Honestly it's so close it's hard to tell but they deducted the entire G3 and penalized the deer when by all means in reality this Buck should've been the new world record whitetail.

  11. I saw an interview with the game wardens and the game warden said that they saw a letter that gave him permission to be there.
But of course his social media showed the deer in a place 10 mi away from his sister's property location.
Maybe he parked 10 miles away to get a better wind read for the area. 😂
Emotional greed got the best of him.
    This is a crazy story.
Make sure you review a lot of different videos and definitely look at the game warden video that they have out now. Anybody that watches or investigates this guy will know that it's poaching 100%.
    Nice try CJ

  12. Liar, thief, piece of work!! His legacy will forever be set in stone. He is NOT a hunter. He is a POACHER!! PERIOD!!

  13. A guy killed a deeer he didnt pay to hunt whoppty doo least it wss on family property cimgrats for him give him his horns back

  14. I think there's a lot of people are jealous and making a big deal out of nothing. This is what happens when you live in a blue state
