I’m a Devils fan and I am so thrilled for these Buffalo Sabres fans who have suffered through years and years of futility. They get their old coach back, they have a strong young core of players, they go on a hot streak and get some confidence and now all of a sudden they look like a legit Cup contender. I’ll be pulling for you guys.
Best game I’ve ever been to. There is no crowd experience like a Sabres crowd. And we’ve wanted back in the playoffs for so long, that building is gonna crack in half next month.
I am a Sabres fan, my friend is a Lightning fan… at the start of the season I talked to him about buying tickets to THIS very game. At that time they were dirt cheap… they couldn't give tickets away. I decided to just wait until it was close to the game to get them. Figured "it's a Sabres game, they are ALWAYS cheap tickets, I can afford to wait". Well, I waited far too long. You couldn't get tickets to this game anywhere and the ones you COULD find were scalped beyond belief. I don't even need to say it but I will anyway… I will kick myself in the ass for that decision for the rest of my life. One of, if not THE greatest regular season Sabres game of all time 😢. Watching from the couch, the better the game became the more I wanted to cry. But than I realized why am I upset? This is what we've wanted… THE SABRES ARE BACK! Once that reality set in, all of the sadness of missing out turned to pure elation. 🦬⚔️
I was watching this game on TV with my dad. This is going to be the runaway game of the year in the NHL. I'm an Isles fan and I have season tickets. We've for sure had some memorable games this season but this game between Tampa Bay and Buffalo was really something else. The Sabres and their fans deserve to have playoff hockey return to Western New York after 15 years of so much losing and they are well on their way to a playoff berth.
