I'd much rather see Coots play at a "B-" level for 50-60 games then watch him play at a "C-" level for 70-80!!! It is so silly, esp in this town, when LOAD MGMT can actually be beneficial but of course they would not utilize it!!!
I want them to buy 14 out at the end of the season, please put an end to the silliness.
Also, I hope they get some beraks and get a good pick…playoffs were never in the cards, this isn't a playoff roster even with 39 playing well, they're not good enough. Draft is the best way to get elite talent. Keep pushing and move anyone you can to accumulate picks or players that can get you elite picks

Michkov look more like last season, toch moves him to rw
Zegras gets more reps at center in prep for next season
Stop running sanheim into the ground, reduce his minutes
Get the power play going, at least 20% for rest of year
Stop taking too many penalties
Play with pride
Get your issues in order so Martone can join a team going in the right direction instead of a team swimming in circles

Coots is a real problem for the Flyers….he is signed for FOUR more years after this year at $7.75 per. OMG.
I'd like to see you guys assess the prospect pool at some point toward the end of the season. Other than Martone, it seems pretty bleak with a large pool of suspects rather than prospects. And other than Martone and possibly Luchanko, they all seem many years away from having any impact in the NHL. Can Luchanko be an adequate 3C next year? Is Bonk any good? Are any of the 2nd round picks from last year doing anything? I have this nagging worry, that Danny & Co are not drafting very well which would be a continuation of 15 or so years of horrible draft results.
