  1. Sorry but Chris was DONE a long time ago! I think around the time when Ariel Helwani labelled Chris the GOAT. Chris is a nice guy, but the disrespect from Ariel towards a legend like Anderson Silva, I have to call out his boy Chris.

  2. The timing of Chris Weidman's career worked out perfectly. When he began his climb up the ranks, the MW division was pretty shallow and the champion at the time was on his way out. It was only a matter of time until the newer/younger guys from Strikeforce would've beaten Silva, and it just so happened that Weidman got there first.

  3. I remember when he was going to fight Luke that he was going to lose. A lot of guys said the same thing when they observe him. Too slow, plodding, flat footed

  4. HUh, but people always have that feeling of losing! that makes no sense. Plus, he could have won that fight if he didn't do that stupid spinning kick!!!

  5. he only really beat aging fighters…… usada happened to come in exactly the same as his decline. they think the fans are stupid.

  6. Chris Weidman seems to finally be entering reality. He was delusional for so long I’m glad he’s able to now see more clearly. He was on a course to keep getting beat up because he refused to see how the sport passed him down.

  7. I honestly feel like after Weidman changed his hairstyle from the dorky plain single lenght all around one to a stylish fade, he was just different.

  8. I feel like that’s a honest take. You saw the decline after that first loss in his performances. His boxing got really sloppy and he wasn’t anywhere near the wrestler he was in the beginning of his career

  9. I never comment on yt videos but honestly have to take a moment to appreciate DCs interview skills here

  10. This guy was 100% on something before USADA. It's higly unlikley that he'd achive that much before and that litle after.

  11. That’s because the three prior fighters that he fought against were 36, 37, 38-year-old Brazilian fighters have been fighting in the UFC for over 10 years. He was a lucky champion.

  12. I hate the narrative that Wideman was in total control of the fight until that kick. He was starting to gas already, he was visibly slowing down and Lockhold was landing shots. The fight was going downhill for Wideman already, that kick just sped it up. People talk as if he was dominating right up until that kick.

  13. Its not just fighters its anyone that are hungry works hard, and achieves everything they wanted and more that struggle with keeping that drive. You get to your goal and find out its all bs lol. Its not what we're really after 😉

  14. Rockhold's grappling was on a whole other level, destroyed both Machida and Weidman on the ground. Unfortunately his chin gave out way too early.

  15. He was a great champion , always wanted him to win. Not many champions that carry themselves like Weidman.
The worst defeat for me was Yoel Romero. Gutted!
At the time , I really like both Rockhold and Weidman. Both were good guys but, you know where that went.
Would make the effort to watch him Box. He commands the respect and opportunity to have a pro fight. Hope he gets what he deserves. Great Champ 🏆
