Brandon Hagel PUBLIC ENEMY #1 for Buffalo Sabres fans with no suspension for attacking Rasmus Dahlin
In the fallout from the insane Sabres win over the Lightning, Brandon Hagel was fined a measly $5K for punching Rasmus Dahlin repeatedly in the back of the head. No ejection, no suspension for attacking the Sabres captain. With such a light punishment, it’s up to the Sabres to serve justice the next time these teams play on April 6th. Will Logan Stanley or anyone else on the Sabres roster go after Hagel? It’s certainly warranted.
Plus, Sneaky Joe sees a strength the Sabres have that can take advantage of Tampa in a playoff series. The Lightning have a big slow blueline and the Sabres have a fast young forward group. It’s reminiscent of the Flyers blueline in 2006 that got boat-raced by that fast Sabres team.
Also, why we should be rooting against the Ottawa Senators making the playoffs.

Lots of Tampa fans have been talking a lot of trash. This Sabres win really scared the shit out of them.

As a Bolts fan, yeah Hagel deserves what’s coming to him this time. There are a lot of times when he’s against the Panthers where he’s the victim. However, after what he did against Buffalo where he’s became the aggressor against Dahlin who wasn’t exactly doing anything as far as we know of, he’s going to pay the price one way or another. I just hope that the Sabres don’t go too far like with how the Panthers, DOPS, and the higher ups in the league did when it came to dealing with Hagel.

I have no idea what dahlin is saying to these guys, or if it's something around the league where he's just hated? He's finding some way to really get under the skin of these guys.

I don't know if it's a bad thing that Dahlin gets under guys' skin and doesn't retaliate. Teams just keep getting penalties; he seems not to mind taking it for the team. Can't let him get hurt, though; it's a fine line.

Lets not want Tage to retaliate that is why we have Malenstyn Stanley Schenn and Carrick and the best thing about the game wasn’t even the result it was the fact they stood up for themselves they had a reputation of being soft ever since Lucic ran Miller and didn’t do anything and again last year the Tage situation was the same thing it seems like the Sabres have finally shed that label and this will be invaluable physiologically going forward
