Connie is doing a great job with the circumstances presented to him. It's a tough job for a GM to make those trades at the right time and get those draft picks and assets. Flames weren't good enough and that was the truth. 2 draft picks 1st and 2nd and a player for a kadri that's already 35 years old is crazy. Avs know he was vital to their cup win as he had his best season and this year they got a chance to go all the way so that's why he traded two high picks for a aging nazeem

Mckenna this summer, Makar and a top 5 draft pick next summer. With everyone coming up in UFA and with our Prospects, Stanley Cup in 2030.
Omg i cant relate to the stress of being the flames gm right now.. i liked tre but i think he handcuffed the next gm…connie is slowly but steadily building a team for the future …its really too bad tre messed up signing huberdont…otherwise we are on our way…exciting times coming…we will be a great time ironically after the oil mess up with mcjesus

tough job this guy has; GM of a bad team with an old roster; and the old players have been by far their best players.
