1st round playoff loss with the present defense and PK.
Stand pat on offense for this season we can address the 2C in the summer. Solidify the D core with a crease clearing defender. We are at the end of the rebuild but still not true contenders until Fowler is our #1. Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!
Guys, forget the stats. The eye test against San Jose showed the inconsistent Dach again; he is not a first line guy; gotta play consistent night after night. The lineup changes also reward Newhook for his play and could reset Slaf after the Olympic letdown.
AJ Greer are you kidding me. This guy has been on 5 different teams in the last 9 years. please lets not waste anything on this guy. He's gonna get your 15-20 pts a season. I'd rather stick with who we already got. If we got this guy for size and physicalness this is exactly what Marc Bergevin did when he was the GM getting Steve OTT back in 2017? This was a complete joke of a trade and Kent would be duplicating what Bergevin did.

Wasn't Newhook playing with Kapanen and Demidov before he got hurt? Think he was…. Anyway my opinion only; Slav seems to be a bit lost with not getting a medal in the Olympics and it's still affecting him. The kid needs some maturing. Hopefully he deals with whatever, sooner rather than later. GHG
