There have been quite a few trades that have happened very recently, which I think have only helped the value of some Rangers who could be dealt. To answer the question posed in the title: Let's hope NOT!
The Rangers will not be cup contenders for the next 4 to 5 years and at that point Igor Shesterkin will be 34 or 35 years old. Seeing as goaltending is much harder to find than scoring, he probably has the highest trade value in the NHL if he gets hurt or demands a trade in the next year, the Rangers will have wasted a golden opportunity to make their future much brighter you could probably get a stud forward or defenseman and three first rounders for him right now.. fox is not built for the playoffs or even the Olympics as Bill Guerin pointed out by not taking him on the team USA, Milan team. He is small slow and has zero physicality so trade him to a team like Utah and ask for someone like Tij IIginla in return.
