I love how All the former wannabe pro hockey players come on these yt threads & criticize Darnell Nurse for his game yet they never had even half of the skills or half the talent, desire, commitment and intestinal fortitude to get to the nhl. This guy has intangibles that a lot of people overlook, #1 he has excellent skating ability, he can skate the puck out of the defensive zone into the offensive zone and on occasion can jump up on the rush to provide the odd goal from the blue line. #2 his toughness and willingness to play a physical game by taking & giving hits & standing up for teammates is too often overlooked IMO especially now that Evander Kane & Corey Perry are no longer in Edmonton. Some of you so called fans want to make this team even softer & easier to play against. Might as well put pink tutus on & hire ice capade skaters to play defense in Edmonton. 😢

Our team defense hasn't been great; it's not just one player. Fans keep looking for a scapegoat, but we need a better effort from the entire team. Darnell is a competitor. He'll find his game when it matters most.
