Just missed you guys, I do have a question though, is the Nebraska area now blacked out from watching blackhawks games?? I live there and have heard conflicting reports, but I haven’t been able to watch any of the games for god knows what reason. Have they really just blacked them all out??

Im going to keep saying it. Who the fuck thought we were a playoff team this year?! Why are we acting like we are in our window and we are underachieving somehow? This fanbase is delusional. This year was about growth and improvements and thats exactly what happened. This team is way too young and they just dont have enough pieces yet. We knew are blue line was ass at the start of the season. Im so confused why everyone is acting like this is new. I told people when Bedard got drafted. If everything went right we were still 3 to 4 years away from the playoffs. We went through two coaches and didn't have true numbers one goalie. So nothing went right. Even when this team was surprisingly playing well in the first half this very podcast said they didn't believe the Hawks would make the playoffs which is an accurate smart take. The Hawks were punching above their weight class for a while and it was a lot of fun to watch and gave me plenty of hope for the future but this brain rot of somehow we are all the sudden this sneaky playoff team is absolutely ridiculous. If we are keeping it a hundred we looked better than we had any business looking. 20 are so games left in the season and the bad teams are fading as the realize they have no shot at the playoffs and the Hawks are no different.
if Korchinski wants to make here he will have to put on ten pounds of muscle this summer…or he is gone !! What did this team ever see in Korch in the first place..cuz i dont see any offense either ! IF Korchinski doesnt make it here, thats 2 high…high..first round picks blown !!!!!
Korchinski should have been playing in Juniors for one more year. Kevin had a scowl, pissed off look on his face from my observation this year in the pre-season. There hasn’t been much to celebrate in his time here, same as Reichel. Kevin like Reichel may not have the drive between the ears to turn it around.
I somehow cant see Bedard being a captain. He seems too quiet and reserved. You need someone with Foligno qualities that can pump up the guys, be talkative and supportive and also be a people person. I hope im wrong

I seem to remember these guys said they wouldn't make excuses for the Hawks this year if they weren't in meaningful games in March n April .
