When you're 5-1 down against the gold medal favourites with 2 minutes remaining in a group game, don't be going anywhere near the boards and keep your head up. He had nothing to prove, and has now potentially cost the Kings a spot in the playoffs this season. He's one of the hardest working players for the Kings and one of the few who kept trying despite most of his teammates giving up. I had a feeling he was going to get injured in this tournament. I was right. I don't care about Doughty, Kuemper or, dare I say it, even Kempe. At 29 years old, you think Kevin would know better by now. Thankfully, he'll be too old for the next Olympics, that is, even he ever manages to recover from this.
December 30, 2025, I very likely broke my shin in 3 places during an amateur hockey match, the tibia near the foot and the fibula above and below, but this happened from a blow to the boards while falling at high speed, and a short distance from the boards, now I have to walk around with iron in my leg for a year, good health to the guy

Looks like a posterior hip dislocation or possible Femur fracture (femur fx are very painful which leads me towards hip dislocation)
