Florida Panthers Captain Sasha Barkov Talks Injury, Recovery, Donation to Joe DiMaggio Children’s

Florida Panthers captain Sasha Barkov meets the media after making a seven-figure donation to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026.

The hospital’s sports medicine program will be named after Barkov.

Barkov has missed this entire season and the OLympics after sustaining a knee injury on his first day of training camp in September. He talked to the media for the first time since the injury on Tuesday.
