Those of us outside of Toronto understand things more than you think. We’ve seen him show up in big moments now, and the Leafs are garbage without him. Something that just can’t be argued.

I never disliked Mitch Marner. He remains my favorite player. Only those people that put ego before hockey knowledge dislike Marner.. True hockey people like me, Jon Cooper, Brad Marchsnd, Mark Stone etc love Mitch Marner.
mariner could have changed his perception with just not being an ** in interviews,,,,,, and his father not going after people and his security people not going after people,,,, And him having thin skin and being defensive on every interview and looking like a ** ** Every time I seen him in an interview I wanted to punch him in the face because he was such an ****,,, he didn't have to score Game 7 goals….. Thought it is wonderful to see us move forward. But the only big thing about this was the fact that this avoided the BIGGEST embarrassment in International Canadian hockey history. Also 3 on 3, come on, that's the measuring stick now. Trolls will be trolls.
