Lyon 100% should have been in goal. The team always tries to keep the puck out of their zone more when UPL is in net. You can’t count on UPL to shut a door really at any point in the game and especially not when there is pressure.
I’m not worried about a Toronto in the playoffs. Yes, they won the Cup WAY before the Expansion Era, but that team has NEVER won 3 playoff series in their entire HISTORY!!

The team D gave up every goal, not the goalies. Nice we can win close games but also outscore mistakes when needed.

Buffalo keeps fumbling our goalie situation. Very embarrassing and nice way to spit in Lyon's face
I hope UPL's injury isn't serious. This is why I am so glad Buffalo is still carrying three goalies. The hit count was low because Buffalo possessed the puck much more than Toronto. And the giveaway total is also high because in the third period, Buffalo did a lot of dumping the puck into the Toronto zone as they killed the clock, and those do count as turnovers. I wish they would change that stat so dump ins do not count as turnovers.
Until last postseason the Sabres had won a playoff series more recently than the Leafs.

I hope we don’t mess with the chemistry of this team unless it an insane trade that benefits us and we just can’t refuse. I don’t care if Tuch walks keep him for a playoff run. This team enjoys playing together right now, don’t fix what isn’t broken. Can you imagine what Helenius will be when he grows up and fills out. A beast power forward.
My concern now is will the Olympic break cool the momentum? Obviously some guy's are playing for there national teams but the other guys need to keep up the hustle on the return. UPL can heal up and hopefully the clutch guy's will stay healthy down the stretch. It's really close this year, so long as they keep there eye on the prize! 👍😋
