I honestly don’t know if that’s a good idea. It would be different if they were both established.
What if Manny doesn’t work out as a head coach? What if Caleb struggles?
What if there’s lockeroom tension over the deployment/favoritism to his son? Even if he doesn’t do anything wrong there will still be the perception.
I think there’s a lot more scenarios where that goes wrong than it goes right.
Manny is a convenient choice but not necessarily the right choice.
