  1. The guy we miss the most is Paul Coffey. You can see the difference in our defence since he’s no longer on the bench, and a huge difference in Bouch’s game. IMO, Coffey and Gulutzan made Knoblauch look really good. And to touch on the coaching change, this isn’t on the players. Knoblauch has made very questionable decisions since being coach, especially both years in the finals. He never made adjustments and just kept rolling out the same lineup, the same game plan, with the same results. 0 cups. Even McDavid was frustrated and said they were stale and never changed anything in the way they played. Knoblauch isn’t the guy.

  2. The Oilers have produced a dynasty of fired head coaches. If Knoblach gets the axe before the end of this season, he will be the 12th coach fired in 17 seasons. I can't help but wonder what available top-notch coach will look at that and say, "Yup, that's the team that will benefit my coaching career."
