We need to move on from Freddy. If the Leafs don't play flawless defence to win in a playoff the risk is much to high that he will let in a soft one as he has shown so many times. He can be great at times but is prone to cost us when we desperately need a big save ( usually late in a game ). I seriously hope he will make me eat my words this year. Go Leafs!!!!!
Andersen has a s% of like .905 over the last 2 calender years. Andersen was never elite and doesn't even appear to be good anymore unless he turns it around. Why are Leafs fans predicting 5 million + for him?
Why are why even talking about this? We’re first, keep the team together until we’re last! Just because our 2 backup goalies played 2 amazing games back-to-back, does not mean we just get rid of our all-star goalie. I honestly don’t think he’ll re-sign, he deserves a better contract. Feel like Edmonton will take him or Seattle will. If you disagree, please explain why in a polite manner, I don’t feel like arguing.

Idk, call me crazy but I'm not in a hurry to throw our goaltending into a massive question mark next year over what can't be any more than a 500k increase at best for Andersen. In fact, given the league wide state of affairs regarding used cap space & the flat cap situation for at least a couple seasons, I can imagine a scenario where Andersen doesn't even get a raise at all.
If the Leafs move on from Andersen, they better have a damn good plan for what's next. Remember where the Leafs were before Andersen came to the team? They were a talented, young team that couldn't afford to make any mistakes EVER, because any mistake would end up in the back of their net. Let's not go back to that place, please!

You pay Mo and Freddy depends on what his market looks like and what is available. Can Campbell and another back-up be serious play-off tandem? The body of work is too limited on Campbell for me to be willing to make that gamble.

Freddie is getting 7 at least, a team will pay it. Lot's of GMs are not sleeping at night due to their own goalies. On Price, he hasn't been Price the last 3 seasons! Pretty sad, time to move on.
I dont know if you guys heard of what Price been through lately, he had to put down his 2 dogs for some medical reason and a new baby. I believe its going against what a goalie need the most, his Mental habilities! Time will tell how good or not he can step up from his strugling situation between the pipe but at first between his hear!

All I know is Andersen is going to have a great post season playoff run this year. Possible trade next season maybe. But not this year.

Rielly is not a number 1 defenseman.. He is a solid number 3 and 2 on a okay team.. Vegas he is a 3.. Buffalo he is a 3.. San jose he is a 3.. Tampa bay he is a 3.. I can keep going.. Trade Reilly for a solid forward and willy for a number 1 pair defense
Adam is always so off, he talks about some sort of double vezina winner, then goes to say "oh it was the Jennings" and talks about it like it was an exceptional thing to happen when the Jennings is almost always won by 2 goalies

Anderson is not a clutch goalie. He's inconsistent and lets the soft one in every few games. People talk about the Leafs picking up various players. They should start in goal this deadline .
I been wanting Freddy gone for a while… 5 mil is way too much for a goalie that hasn’t won a playoff round
god blessed they better we will never make it deep in playoffs with a goalie that lets 3-4 in every game.
I never liked Freddie, it's something about his demeanor he seems soft.
