Ryan McLeod is one of the Sabres most important forwards entering the 2025/26 season. Another player who exemplifies the style of play Lindy Ruff wants all of his forwards to engage in, McLeod is expected to be a leader and an example for the young guys. A talented two-way forward who is able to compete at all areas of the ice, McLeod posted his best ever offensive season in the NHL last season as he posted 20 goals. If he can find a balanced between his increased offense and playing a touch better defensively, McLeod will be able to take yet another step this season.
