I am the happy owner of one of the 1995-96 Green/Blue and White Nordiques prototype jerseys. Personally thought they were okay as far as a branding change but the color scheme seemed off. The NHL already had the Whalers (who wore similar colors at the time) and the Vancouver Canucks (who would go back to their original colors a few years later).
Not a bad looking jersey but I wish they didnt get rid of the Nordiques igloo.

Yes! I knew the Avs burgundy was lighter at one time but I could never find any official confirmation on jersey databases or anything. Anyway, I had one of those. A Starter Roy jersey. I ended up giving it away.

Three things: One, that black jersey at :55 is actually pretty awesome, I'd like one. Two, the burgundy 3rd with the Colorado wordmark is a very underappreciated jersey, but it's one of my favorites. Three, I still haven't fully accepted the loss of the bigfoot shoulder logo, it just complements the jersey so much better than the "C". I understand why they did it, but I want the old one back. Just IMO.

The part with the second stadium jersey is the burgundy is a different shade from the inner A to the bottom. I think it makes it look like a skirt.
Whatever jersey the Avs wear, there forever needs to be the Yeti foot on the shoulder or the Avs original logo on the shoulder. The Colorado flag 'C' is too bland for me. I wish they'd update the original jersey a bit and stick with the Yeti foot.

Modify the Nordiques logo from an N to an A. All the throwback feels while keeping it Avalanche.
Those Vintage line reproductions of the original Starter jerseys are so far off it’s crazy. The inaugural (and I think for a couple seasons after?) jerseys were made out of a shimmering material that looked all kinds of rad. Best jersey of the franchise.

The early authentics by Starter were awesome; they had this sheen to them that set them apart from the CCM jerseys. Loved that the numbers were a unique style too.

What I love most about Colorado’s jerseys is that they play in the Pepsi center and their logo and colors remind me of Pepsi

They have a good team, but their bottom 9 forwards are just ok, not great. Tampa bay, Toronto and Vegas off the top have better overall offense. Colorado’s dmen are young and there are some good players but Vegas woth Pietrangelo and Theodore is pretty awesome. I even think Columbus and Pittsburgh have a better second and third lines than Colorado

The Nordiques jerseys looked great. I was happy back in 2020 when the Reverse Retro were of the style of the Nordiques. The Yeti logo needs to comeback.

The Avs got their look right in 95-96. Just the right mix of black and white in the details. The collar and mountain hem are perfect.
The Reebok Egde era is by far their worst look, with the abstract Stadium Series not far behind.
