Colour me shocked.
Hearing this from this young lady is totally surprising. What a revelation. I don't follow celebrities or athletes, so I don't claim to know them, but this is the last thing I expect to hear from Sidney.

I thought she was the complete opposite which is why I am such a big fan of hers; on top of being a great athlete. But I got even more respect for her now because she’s real and transparent. She’s a different breed for sure. I don’t think she really wanted the attention, she was just forced into the spotlight and then became somewhat consumed by it. Which is not uncommon when everyone wants a piece of you.
I remember the Sydney that was crying on the internet because the black girls hated her guts because she wouldn't let them drag her down. This is a far more aware and mature lady.
