Bennett was seen on the bench telling a teammate that he purposely fell into Skinner. He’ll never get another call for the rest of the series.
Bob cant do this by himself guys. One period of hockey aint gonna cut it. Come out with some urgency.
This is a game we should never lose and the first one we have lost in awhile when we are up 2 and leading in the 3rd. We let it slip away. We played great the first 40 minutes and then sat around for 20 minutes in the 3rd. Realistically we should have won 3-2 in regulation but oh well. The first 5 minutes of OT looked really good and then we stagnated. Nosek can't be having that penalty as well. We should have had a 2nd OT until we tossed it away.
That being said I'm not too worried. It's a long series and this team always bounces back after a loss. Pomo never fails with adjusting the game plan after a loss. Big bounce back come Friday.
Last 5 Playoff games vs Edmonton Oilers….Panthers have Won 1 and Lost 4…Oilers have 24 Goals Panthers 11 in those 5 Games…Oilers are 13–2 in their last 15 Playoff Games this year. Skinner has 3 Shutouts in his last 6 win's…Oilers "Backup' Pickard is 6–0 this playoffs….Oilers do not seem physically intimidated by the Panthers at all…..This is a different team and they are on a Mission.
Playoff Bob stood on his head and still lost. Oilers could have easily had three or four more goals.
It's okay losing is part of the game just fight back harder in next game.

Started off rocky huge second and slow third. Bob let softies in to have a chance to win says a lot. They will be alright don't need to panic. After a game that was about 50% panther hockey lol.

Benny was the only one trying to carry the puck into the o zone in period 3 and OT. Everyone else with the failed dump and chase over and over and over. I have no doubt they’ll bounce back but they looked winded and started making desperation plays instead of smart ones.
Edmonton defense was on another level. Walman played unreal. 3rd period and ot oilers dominated

What no one is taking into account is this: The panthers just flew 8 hours have a time adjustment, the later that game got the worse it was for the panthers as there internal clock said this game was 3 in the morning when it was in overtime. Then your playing a team and an arena that has as much hate and disgust for you as a team as anyone after you beat them for the stanley cup last year. So the entire game was always emotionally going to be on the oilers side. And when you were playing your best you were up 3-1. That shows me your the better team. You just ant get complacent. This game actually reminds me of the Dallas vs Edmonton first game. Where dallas had a 3rd period that dominated the oilers. The oilers looked out of gas that 3rd period. Then won 4 straight. The panthers will come back and win game 2 cause they so often come back after a loss and win. Cats in 6
