  1. With the top 5 paid forwards accounting for $40M cap hit there is not enough playoff goals from them. Combined with the lack of an enforcer on the ice these finesse player are open targets with no retribution. As we have seen you cannot rely on the officiating to make things right.

  2. I would feel sorry for Tampa and the Lightening fans if you were nicer when you were beating us, but I'll just say go Panthers, and it's lovely to see you cry Lightening nation!

  3. I actually like this view of series. Basicly Cooper said we lost because Panthers are awesome and we are not as awesome.

  4. Genuinely hope he doesn't come back, I understand the series didn't go the way we want, but with such a brutal display of effort in return on home ice, pitiful. I would love to see if we could do something with Sully from Penguins, I think it might be time for a new voice because good god did he get absolutely dusted by Maurice and it showed in his energy. Too much skill and talent wasted this last few runs.

PS: Never play Perbix again please good god.

  5. Die hard Cats fan here. Coop is genuine. He's a great coach. Rumor has it he may be moving on to Utah. I hope not. TBL is a great team. But truth is Cats are greater.

  6. I know we are awesome!! 12 more, baby!!
I was rooting for y'all when y'all were banging it out and winning the Cup. Let's keep The Cup down here!!

  7. I appreciate what he is saying, but it also reeks of him basically saying, “remember we USED to win cups” basically living in the past and not just realizing that they just got there ass whooped, and they could learn to be quite a bit tougher

  8. I'm an Oilers fan, but Coops is the best Coach for this Team since he has landed in Tampa (after Torts). I expect Tampa to be back in the thick of the Playoffs next season and competing for a Cup again!

  9. Pretty sure Coop knew our roster was nowhere close to Florida's, he spoke eloquently about the Bolts all series even though it barely felt like they were engaged

  10. As a Panthers Fan i have Mad respect for Cooper. The one huge difference maker is i honestly think someone needs to call out Kucherov. I am happy we found a way to shut him down, but he has literally been silent the last 2 years in the play offs. It like a switch turns off.

  11. Cooper just be honest and say you were manhandled. I'm a Lightning fan btw but I'm sick of this small ball. Doesnt work in the playoffs

  12. Cooper is a class act. Great coach. I think the Panthers’ GM has done a phenomenal job of bringing in the right pieces. This is especially true for the late season additions. This was the difference in the series. Both teams have hall of fame coaches.

Marchand is really starting to gel with his teammates. Seth Jones is also excellent and plays more minutes than any other Panther other than Bob. Sturm will add needed help. Panthers may be as good as last year. Playing better now that they are finally at full strength. If Tampa had won, I would have rooted for them.

Winning the Cup is a monumental task. It requires skill, toughness, strategy, and some luck. Go Cats!

  13. Panther fan here, Coop is awesome, always loved the guy. I hope he takes comfort in the fact that the only way to find a pathway past the bolts was to build the system the cats built. It is expensive, and it is hard. Took many years to do so, and I will be sad when our turn is over.

  14. Well lets see we let our captain walk. Ummm we allowed Stamkos to depart… Oh and we lost our top goal scorer and got no return… The morale was lost amongst the team… We did not add enough impactful players as per usual and we got BEAT UP by the panthers. YEAR AFTER YEAR beat up by the panthers, the bruins, etc. When are we going to add some fight back and size to this roster? Our bottom 6 is among the leagues worst if we dont get a 3 point night from kuch we lose simple as that.

  15. I still think the Lightning is a great team. Cooper is still a top coach in the NHL. The Lightning will make a big mistake if they don't extend his contract after the upcoming season. Good coaches are hard to find. I still think after Stamkos left, the Lightning hasn't been the same. I'm not even a Lightning fan, just a hockey fan.

  16. As a panthers fan I hate TB every time we play them but I definitely respect them. They pushed the Panthers to get over the hump and right now it’s our time not saying they’ll repeat but it’s going to be damn hard for a team to beat them 4 times. TB had a ridiculous run and hopefully we can repeat like they did.

  17. Officiating ruined this series. A player should be out as long as the player he injured if the injury was a result of an illegal hit/action. The Panthers are a filthy team, it's not hockey.

  18. Lightning got beat to hell. Out physicalled, skated, and played overall. Fought hard but not enough. Need some bigger guys.

  19. Well said and very humble, we have a great team, like he said we can't always win and had a great run. Congratulations to the Panthers but they will be back! Go Bolts! Great team, Coop is a great coach and great staff.
