  1. I think it’s actually better to get a few losses to study and reflect on prior to playoffs. And this is a great loss to study a little. I think we all felt like they weren’t going to finish after flubbing so many late in the third. We had what felt like 8-10 good chances in the last 5 minutes. Just lacked accuracy. That tip from Mack to Drouin should have been easy to finish and he tipped it right to Bennington short side. Anything middle or far would have gone in. Cale missed a few by 6 or 8 inches. And mix this with some terrible reffing and we get a close loss..

  2. Don't care if you agree or not the refs helped the Blues win. How can they miss MacKinnon getting slashed. I will say this the refs are corrupt. Ref#6 probably bet on the game.

  3. How can the refs not call a misconduct penalty that was easily 4 : 00 minutes on Zach Bolduc with his forearm shiver to Lindgren head it knocked his helmet right off like the WWE

  4. Wah, wah. St Louis kept us on the boards. Wah, wah. We are so good, but the refs were bad. Wah, wah.

  5. Dude both goalie played awesome. The only call that was iffy was MacKinnons. Otherwise it was a good game and Blues deserved it.

  6. It suks to keep loosing these games when your goalie is only allowing 2 goals but it is what it is just couldn't finish , congrats to the blues they r playing hard an r on fire right now gonna be a tough first round match up for a top team

  7. How about that cross-check on Buchnevich. Hey, win some lose some. Goes both ways. Avs played at home. Stl flew in and had to adjust to altitude and they did. Don't whine, just go out and win.

  8. Tell me how you play when your 10 minutes playing defensively on power play. The referee got payed off never seen that at home.

  9. Those two penalties were weak af !! Plus that elbow to Ryan was egregious tbh !! Well get it going in the next game !!

  10. Refs affected the game in the third. Two of those calls were not penalties the way the game was allowed to be played by the refs. The none call with the elbowing is beyond bad, thats just you being bad at your job. It was beyond obvious a penalty. That being said, we did not execute when needed. We have all the personal to win, its about execution and John Wick’ing it.

  11. I watch almost all the games, plenty of non calls and called fouls against our blues that I say WTF. I dont go on our site crying about it.

  12. Jesus avs fans are fucking crybabys sorry you couldn’t score more than 1 with McKinnon necas and makar maybe yall are just washed

  13. This whole thing just sounds like an excuse. Really avs fans the ice was a problem? You guys were on 11 game winning streak at home as for the no penalty call you think there should have been that didn't change the game against you. The avs just lost to a better team accept it

  14. Refs know this is effectively playoff hockey, and it's gonna be called that way from here on out.

  15. Typical Blues fan.
Super loud online, but no real substance or bite.

In response to the JOURNALISTS question:
“No, you gotta keep playing your game. I don’t know if the ice was bad or not, that’s a better question for the players. You gotta play in all types of environments, both teams are playing on the same ice sheet…”

Another journalist even then tries to press it again, bringing up how they move from basketball to hockey and back.
Bednar then AGAIN shuts it down as an excuse.

Bednar makes a quick comment about the Lindgren no call, then bounces out.

So tell us all again how he was blaming the ice, or even blaming other people?
