He DESERVES 8×8… the cap is up nearly 15 million since the Boldy signing and he is the ONLY guy to play every game!

You guys keep saying it doesn't make sense on trading Rossi…. and it's because it doesn't. Anyone who knows hockey knows it would be a stupid move for all the reasons you've listed. Billy's a shit GM and continues to sign 4th line knuckle-draggers and gives away young assets like MyRat that any GM wouldn't do. Billy needs to go before he gives away Rossi and Kap chooses to follow him out the door when Billy signs three 34 yr old FA signings and says F this team.

I don't know why Buffalo would do it (I only bring it up because his name was bouncing around the trade rumor mill) but if you could turn Rossi + ? into Tage Thompson, I'd make that trade no problem…

How can anybody argue not paying over someone else's contract signed several years ago when the cap was stagnant? Rossi plays a more desired position and his contract is up when the cap is exploding…the next contract for even players will always be greater…
Showcase a young guns end of season game between the two conferences four year players and under. Dovetail the awards presentation with that and have the recipients offer their commentary on the "young guns game" voicing their kudos and critiques of NHL futures. Take a hint from the success of the four nations treat we all enjoyed. Yes, the young guns should get a bonus bump for participating.
