Joe Thornton hitting Hal Gill

During his first game back after being traded, Joe hits Hal
“illegally” from behind/side. Thus, he gets ejected from the game. It was a very disappointing game for everyone that wanted to watch Joe play against his former club.

  1. @y4m5m5 you obviously don't know a thing about hockey because he clearly hits him from behind. you get hit like that and say that it is clean.

  2. so now it is clear to me why the NHL hates the sharks! WE STOLE THEIR FAVORITE PLAYER from the team THAT THE LEAGUE GETS THEIR DICK SUCKED WITH

  3. I love Joe as a player, but he can clearly see the numbers and pushed him face first into the boards. You have to be an idiot to say that's a clean hit

  4. wow you can't look at the outcome of the hit. If he gets injured on a clean hit you can't eject the player……

  5. Thornton did everything he could. He rode Gill into the boards instead of shoving him. If Gill wasn't such a crappy skater the hit would have looked clean…because it was
