Jones will thrive now, but over paying him will be a negative in the very near furure. Does anyone really think jones is that much better than mikola? And now we can safely bet that ekblad is either gone or takes a pay cut to stay. And i get that bob is the playoffs goalie, but when he goes down the cats are done without a legit back up. No one can convince me that dealing spencer was a huge win. Especially if they cant get a good goalie. Spencer was 6th best in goals against and bob was 20th. Fingers crossed they didnt tank the season to get a break from another long cup run.
