Zucker has been outstanding for us, but I would still trade him. He’s a 3W that has put up top-6 numbers because Cozens and Quinn couldn’t get it done. I doubt he’ll take 3W money from us for his next contract. Trade him, with retention, for a RD.

Adam’s has made good trades. I would prefer that he try and resign Zucker and Greenway. If they want to hit the market, then we need to trade them and recoup assets.

The player I would LOVE to try to get in a big trade is Kyrou from St. Loius!
There are just too many teams to jump over to get in… that said, I could see them moving the two guy you mention and maybe a few others… I am also ok with them buying non-rentals…. I would also celebrate a move that ships UPL… still just too inconsistant and Levi is tearing up AHL.. time to go with the kid..
Interesting that Zucker & Greenway are in the conversation to trade for some assets like futures/prospects as we need another growth cycle, we need proven NHL ready players. Benson, Power for example are not ready. As far as Greenway of course he's playing great because he's playing for a new contract just like Zucker is. Thats there motivation.

I like Greenway but he can't stay healthy. Gets in a fight and gets hurt and not from the actual fight but he always pulls something from fighting.

The Sabres met a solid, skilled team last night and it showed them what the bar should be. Canes play in all ends of the ice and their PK is damn solid.
