As a wild fan, I'd rather keep 5'9" gritty Rossi for that 11million china doll. Wild need to weaponize LTIR with KK97 and pickup a Brock Nelson type.
As much as i dont want to lose petterson…i think a trade would make him a 100+ point player again….canucks need a locker room trade
If Pettersson goes to the Sabres, I feel like Mattias Samuelsson would be the one to go. If they do trade Power or Byrams they would probably want something in return like one of the Canucks better prospects or a pick as opposed to trading their top 2 defenceman under 24 for practically nothing to replace them.

I don’t know how this EP40 situation will end up but if it ends in a buyout, I won’t be too surprised.
There is alot of chatter heere in the Buffalo area about Pettersson and trade talks heating up with us and the Canucks. I believe you're correct about Power and Cozens but I think the hang up is that the Canucks also want our 1st round pick or Helenius thrown in also from what I'm hearing. Understandable that the Canucks want as many assets as possible for him but even Eichel (granted he was injured) but we got a 1st, Tuch and Krebs but again I think his injury definitely compromised things.

Remember back in old days Cliff Ronning and Geoff Courtnall usually contributes 50-70 points per season only made around 1m per season and don’t have mental issues, 11m franchise star needs to play like one , no story , no excuse , full stop
Horrible mismanagement by the Canucks. It never should have gotten to this point, and it sounds like it's been brewing for years. If they knew there were problems between Pettersson and Miller, why did they extend both of them to long, expensive contracts? Why trade Horvat? Why not make some discreet moves before everything becomes public? As a Canuck fan, this is all very depressing. They had the makings of a very promising young team a few years ago but they've managed to really s*it the bed. I won't be surprised if they end up having to trade everybody- Pettersson, Miller, Demko, Boeser and… Hughes. Because he's already 25 and won't want to spend more of his prime years in this mess.
Absolutely crazy how publicly everyone is discussing this. Secretly hoping the excess of discussion leads to enough unappealing offers for Vancouver to just keep him.
Just get byram and power
Vancouver is praying that someone takes him. Based on points scored ranking against the highest forward caps JT is scoring at a 6 M pace and Pettersson at 5.5 M. Taking either of those players is a HUGE loss for who ever takes either one. Hoping that the rest of the GM's wake up and say, naw, we do not need either one.
NHL GM's should just start sitting players that can not focus on playing the game. Would love to hear the Vancouver GM say "JT your sitting in the press box until your contract expires. Enjoy".
I don't think my Senators have the depth to trade for anyone at the moment unless some team is willing to take a flyer on Tyler Boucher the former 1st round pick who has been verrrrry slow to develop. Besides, Ottawa is finally getting the goaltending we've been lacking for 8 years and we've moved up to 3 in the Atlantic division with many more games played on the road than at home…I think we stay put. Why are you staring at me the entire time? Why is it so close on your face? What does your face add to the video at all? Creeps me out, both having someone projecting themselves as being 6" from my face, and realizing that you intentionally do this instead of just showing the data on screen.
I think Canucks fans are going to be disappointed in the trade. The Sabers although they feel the pressure they don't have to make a trade were it seems like Canucks do. I can't see the Sabres give up two Dman to get the trade done so most likely it will be Powers and something else or Cousins and Byram.

I would take Petterson, but it would have to be a hell of a deal and ASP isn’t on the table, ever. Kasper isn’t on the table either, since it’s looking like his ceiling is higher than previously thought.
That doesn’t leave us with much of an offer, and I’m okay with that lol.
