Sens fan here – weird thing about this game was it was like the exact reverse of the last time we played each other. You guys were missing key passes and fumbling pucks, gripping it too hard, lots of animosity in the locker room you can tell – that’s kind of how the sens were last time (although we don’t have the locker room issues). Team still looked good but the Miller /Petterson rift is a legit problem, gotta pick one and move the other and get a big big return to come back strong. No hate for Vancouver I’d rather see van in the playoffs than Edmonton who squanders every opportunity they have (first round picks for a decade, Edmonton is the worst).

I cannot comment one way or the other on the Miller-Petey melodrama, if there is one, but I have noticed something of a trend in the last month which is probably totally irrelevant but I wanted to bring it up. The two best performances the Canucks have had at home in the last month have been the games against Florida and Colorado and if I'm not mistaken, they were wearing the home blue Orca jerseys and every time they are wearing the black flying skate, their game is suspect. I played beer league hockey for 35 years and always had my routines and superstitions so I'm likely just blowing smoke, but personally I'd like to see a run of home games with the boys wearing the blue Orca and just see what happens. I get that the black skate is the more popular with the fans but when was the last time they put in a great 60 minutes at home wearing them? Yeah, yeah, it's not rational or logical but what the hell, superstitions have been with us for thousands of years so why not see what happens? Or not… because I can't understand the performances at home this season.
