The CBJ Center (@CBJcenter) on X – Corey Pronman says on The Athletic Hockey podcast that Cayden’s Lindstrom back injury was the result of a herniated disc.

“We had some concerns about Cayden’s Lindstrom health. All season. Mostly the second half of the year due to injury. A hand injury and a herniated disc in his back.”

Was asked about the juiciest topic at the combine since they just got back.

4th pick doesn’t seem ideal this year unless demidov slides. I like lindstrom but taking a power forward at 4 that already has health issues is very concerning. I have no idea what they do at 4OA now

I was gonna post this earlier but forgot. Herniated discs are no joke. Yeah, they can get better, but your back is never the same (speaking from experience). This would make me not want him at all. Either Demidov or a defensemen for me.

Would have liked Lindstrom @ 4, but those injuries are very concerning for a power forward

Zeev. Buium. He’s Cale Makar lite

Don’t waste a 4th overall on a teenager with a HERNIATED DISC THAT ENDED HIS SEASON just because he’s tall. That’s not normal, and it will get worse
