Their lack of playoff experience was full display tonight. When the intensity went up, they couldn’t find that killer instinct to stomp out their opponent. The oilers were facing elimination and they gambled with their goalie who had been shaky all series. The Canucks should have come out of the gate hitting and shooting but they did neither… Tocchet needs to find his magic in motivating this group to find that extra gear for game seven now…
It boggles the mind why they didn't pepper Skinner. It seems what the coach says goes in one ear and out the other. I don't understand why the players are ignoring the coach here. The only reason is exhaustion.
Canucks didn’t look interested tonight. They give them too much space in our zone. I thought they were lucky some of those previous games considering how many shots oilers had
