For a team that isn’t complete they went farther than I expected. Many people called this a bridge year and that they wouldn’t even make the playoffs! To make it to the 2nd round and not get swept is wwaayy more than I thought would happen. The Panthers have a more complete roster and deserve to move on but they had to work for it a little. The Bruins will have more money to get more top people and PAY Swayman!!
The better team won as you said. They got some help on a few calls, it is what it is. Boston was very undisciplined and Montgomery allowing them to engage the Panthers at their own game was a mistake, but not one you can do much to help given how aggressive Florida can be.
Honestly? I'll take it, for a team who I was positive wasn't even making the playoffs in September that had several players in the playoffs for the first time, they blew my expectations out of the water. Very exited to see where this team goes, especially Lohrei and looking forward to seeing Potrois develop next year.
Like….I'm not mad about losing, sure, it happened, and we expected it to happen. But for it to be so screwy? ugh. Nobody seems to talk about the McAvoy hold that leads right to the game winner.

Well the only upside for Boston this year is that…they made it to the 2nd round…only to be beaten by the team that did beat them last year in the first round and that went to 7 games…while thsi year it was only 6 games in the 2nd round. So maybe in a couple of years time they might be in the cup final. HA HA HA.
