Sens and Anaheim just need to make the trade involving Chyc and Gibson. Sens add in Forsberg and other pieces…Anaheim tosses in draft picks. Done. Gibson becomes Sens solid goalie for next 4 years, Anaheim continues to be Anaheim and struggles. Dostal is ready and is just sitting there so it makes sense.

Oh hell yes. I would love to see that get done. I've always liked DeMelo, and Ehlers would be a great fit. That would leave the goaltending situation and finding our next coach as our to-do list. Whatever other moves they could make would be icing at that point. The question is, can they make it happen?

Ottawa would not suing demelo again hell no, but I see ottawa making a deal for a centre this summer, they will trade Norris this summer with someone else in the trade probably a brannstrom or a goalie.
It makes sense to me to have Demello and Eylers from Winnipeg for Chychrun or there is other options that could work.

Chychrun,JBD,Hamonic and Forsberg for Jusso Valimaki,Sean Durzi,and Connor Ingram plus a pick.
Norris to Chicago for Jason Dickinson and a pick.Joseph,Kubalik,Oskar Petterson,the other goalie in the ahl that isn't Soogard for Bellville,a first and Washington's second for 2024 for Draisatl or another elite center.Edmonton is on a cup run,either way win or loose there will be a big move after the cup is decided.
Demelo & Dillon have both stated they want to re-sign in Wpg and I believe the Jets are trying to make that happen.
I believe Ehlers for Chychrun straight up would be a deal the Jets would definitely have interest in.
That would allow the Jets to rotate Heinola in and let Samuelson develop for a year on the Moose.

I'd have a hard time deciding who my favorite Jet was if Ehlers was traded. Goals or no goals, the way that kid plays the game is unreal.

Ehlers for Chychryn, yep time for Nic to go. Too overrated in my opinion, has speed, but just not the guy to get Winnipeg further along. Winnipeg needs some size & grit on the blue line, & Chychryn could be a big help, look what Vancouver did adding Soucy & Zadorov, big strong blue liners.
