Billy Strings is National Anthem Singer for Predators-Canucks Game 6 in NHL Playoffs 2024

Another Nashville Predators NHL playoffs game, another Grammy Award winning U.S. national anthem singer at Bridgestone Arena. On Friday, it was Billy Strings’ turn before the Predators faced the Vancouver Canucks in Game 6 of their best-of-seven first round series. Strings, a guitarist, and a bluegrass musician won a Grammy in 2021 when his album “Home” was named “Best Bluegrass Album.” Grammy winner Colbie Caillat sang the anthem before game 3 on April 26. Fellow Grammy winners Little Big Town followed on April 28 before Game 4.

  1. had the pregame on the whole half hour before, i look up randomly and go "holy shit!" as i see billy walk out onto the ice. amazing.

  2. Billy just made me proud to be an American again, even if only for a couple seconds. Beautiful.

  3. Announcer totally blew Billy’s introduction. He obviously is not a fan and didn’t know it’s Billy Muther Fn Strings !!!

  4. Man….I got goosebumps. Hopefully he will record a couple slower songs in the future, because this is where his AMAZING voice really shines. I was also hearing him in my head sing to the crowd "25 long years for a Cup named Stanley."
