Stars are currently playing 5 defensemen and it shows (Nils Lundqist had 5.26 of time on ice tonight 💀), not trusting Nils to absorb more minutes is gassing guys like Miro when we hit the final stretch. Nils did play better tonight so maybe he earns enough trust from the coaching staff to get more shifts and remove some load from our other d-men.
If the Stars somehow win this series, they'll put their fan base in the "torture" category!! Just like the SFran Giants did to their fan base back in 2010. I don't have a dog in this fight, but holy cow this series has a chance to be epic. Two terrific teams!!
Seeing how effortlessly Colorado is allowed to get right back into a these large multi goal lead games, I don't have much faith in the stars. When Colorado chooses to actually start on time, how can you beat them?
Oettinger is so uneven, almost pefrfect in the first 2 periods and then all of sudden pretty shaky in the second. Good match the Fins stepped up nicely in this one, well done by lundqvist as well.
