Sheldon Keefe has been relieved of his role as head coach. The organization will immediately begin the search for a new head coach.

I sure hope not. The head coach should probably have a say in that and hopefully he hasn’t been hired yet (and it won’t be Keefe).
I’d prefer not. I don’t think Keefe is an upgrade from Sullivan, and I think if you stick Keefe behind the bench Sullivan knows his heir apparent is sitting right there and it’s a matter of time before he takes over.
Get someone who’s got some experience with veteran teams and a PP.
I wouldn’t mind if he goes to WBS to develop as a coach.

Please bring reasons why Keefe is a good coach. Just for educative purposes. Heard heaps of things why he isn’t a good coach etc but please bring out the strong parts about him.
If he has experience running a PP, sure why not.
If not, then, uh, no.
He can coach WBS if he wants to be with Papa Dubas again.
While I’m not sure if Keefe is the right man for the job, something needs to be done to light a fire under Sullivan’s ass and if it means bringing in keefe as an associate or as the head coach at WBS, that’s fine. Sullivan cannot continue to do the same BS without having to feel some heat.
I’d be willing to put money on him being the newest head coach in Wilkes Barre
Hey as an outsider I actually felt like Dubas was ready to trade some core 4 and fire Keefe but Shanahan said no.
I’d actually be a little surprised if he brings him to Pittsburgh

Now since Keefe still has a multiple year contract with the Leafs would him getting another job void that? How much would the Pens have to pay him above it to make it worth it to him?

Toronto fan here, i think Dubas will hire him in Pittsburgh in some capacity, whether its associate coach, or something else. But who knows with Dubas. He did have an obsession with his former Sault St Marie Greyhounds when in Toronto.
Keefe is on that 2:30 air Canada flight to Pittsburgh. Bet on it

Nope. If Mario and crew allow him, I think Dubas fires Sully and gives the job to Keefe. Dubas is incredibly loyal to his own guys and has a very specific vision. Keefe fits that vision.

Why would he want to take a demotion? Someone will hire him as a HC.
Why would anyone want Keefe at any coaching level when he is so embarrassingly outcoached every playoffs?
Cautiously concerned about the potential of this outcome. Though honestly i’d be willing to give most anyone a shot because a new voice is needed in general.
Dubas is next.
