Getting celebrini is a nice consolation but I’m never forgiving Bettman for screwing us out of Bedard with the least amount of wins last season.

IMO it should be best record of non playoff teams determine order, no tanking and you will have non playoff teams buying at the deadline instead of rewarding incompetence, this will generate a season within a season, just imagine if detroit and montreal and buffalo battle for the best record of non playoff teams for the number one pick this year. another example pittsburgh that was hot down the stretch maybe that last game vs islanders after being eliminated (by caps making playoffs) means something, if not for the first overall maybe for #4 instead of 5 or 6.

5:00 Apparently, Adam doesn't understand the draft lottery. There is a 0% chance Utah is 3rd and San Jose falls out of the top 3.
The only 2 teams that can pay Marner 8×12 are Utah and Seattle. Leafs should take the #6 or #8 pick and draft their #1 D.
