  1. Honestly the first bit with Travis Green was pretty good with Vancouver. Had an average roster and he took us to 2 playoff series wins against Minnesota and the defending cup champs St. Louis. It was management's fault imo for not resigning anyone that year and completely lost the culture in the locker room. Travis green had to be let go because Vancouver needed to clean house to get away from the Benning era. I never blamed Travis Green for anything I hope is successful and brings Ottawa back to the playoffs. LETS GO CANUCKS!!!!

  2. I'm a Sens fan. I'm not happy with the hiring given the options available. Clearly Sens management saw something in him. I'll wait and see how it goes. As for the expectations for the team, fans here are sick of being bottom feeders. Playoffs are a must next season. Depending on the moves made this summer, I'm not so sure making the playoffs will be realistic.

  3. He might not have been the best candidate available, but he was probably the best one willing to come to Ottawa.. hard to attract one of the bigger names with the worst sv% in the league knowing bad goaltending kills coaching careers… i'm going to wait until 20 games into the season to decide if this was a good move or not… at least it's not another rookie head coach.

  4. here we are judging professionals on how to be a professional, like come on the guy has experience yes there are better candidates on record, but record isnt what determines a good coach, things such as fit, communication and much more come into it. the other coaches on the list possibly didnt want ottawa theres at least 5+ teams looking at coaches rn, so maybe this is the best they can get. so pipe your horses travis isnt bad hes good at devoloping, and ppl are bringing up his record and teams after he lefts success, but when he was there they never built around him they always built after him, so give him a chance and stfu.

  5. I know when I saw when Ottawa hired Green I wasn’t making fun of them I was disappointed that my Sharks didn’t hire him

  6. I’m feeling much better about him. I actually found myself feeling massively sorry for him, has to hurt getting slammed like that before you even come to the city. Let’s hope they bring in some solid assistants, Todd Rierden would be solid. Bottom line is the players want to win, and so does Green, he is going to prove everyone wrong.

  7. Came back for some LOLs on this guy's horrendous takes and I wasn't disappointed. Imagine tryna make excuses for finishing behind the 2021 Sens lmao
