Avs are no joke! I knew the Stars needed to stay focused and hungry. They became complacent and allowed the comeback.
Avs are just NEVER out of a game, bednar has them looking tilt-proof. Wouldn't be surprised if stars win still, I think one of these two gets to the cup final

Really good game! Both teams played awesome! In the end, I’m going to say it was fatigue that got to the Stars. 3rd period showed they slowed down then AV.

Vegas wore out the Stars, but stop with the excuses. It’s the Playoffs, boys! AVS showed tenacity and talent and were better coached.

They played really good for streches of the game but when that team turns it on boy are they dangerous.. Good win for the Avs for sure. Learn lessons here and adjust. I was acrually very happy with how the stars played in overtime except for one huge factor …. hit the damn net !!!! I knew the avs were going to win when dallas missed so many chances. The avs arent going to miss like that. This is going to be tough. We knew that tho.

I was at the game. they got relaxed going into 2nd, taking stupid penalties. you can't Give best pp team in the league help to get back in the game. the stars had multiple chances to end in OT ! NGL that game winning goal by avs was pretty weak. that should of been routine save with poke check or over left pad save, let him skate right into the crease with no poke check… smh
The goaltender ALWAYS needs to be your best player and Otter rarely is. Theirs stole the game in OT and Otter gives up a pathetic softie and game over. He MUST be better!! Also, Duschene, Hintz, and Pavelski have provided NOTHING in the post season. Those are 3 of their top 5 scorers and 3 of the best players on the roster and they haven't showed up on the score sheet in 8 games now. That just cannot continue
A 3-0 lead at the end of the first period is not so invincible. A 3-0 lead at the middle of the 3rd period can be pretty invincible.
Stars are a good all round team but they cannot contain the top line. Avs only weakness is the goalie. Avs in 5.
