Any of the guys listed except Jiricek would be a home run at 11 IMO.

I don’t just want to trade the first for the sake of trading the first round pick. I need to see which has more value. If there is a guy in that 11 range we think we can get that can be a gamechanger.
Draft him. Don’t trade for the sake of it. We are all going to have the guys we like in the draft. The athletic has their picks for the Sabres.
I think the draft should take the best available player. It doesn’t matter if they’re purely an offensive defenseman or defensive forward. Disregard our current needs because this kid will be 2-3 years out anyway, and our team’s needs will have shifted by then.
If the best player skater is a two-way forward or a RHD, great. If not, that’s fine, too.
We’ll certainly have a lot of options at 11, but i need to watch more skaters to get a better sense of the slot
