Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov was assessed a two-minute minor penalty for tripping New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin behind the net. A scrum ensued after the incident with Shesterkin involved.

Свечников подленький игрок. Уж до чего я не люблю ови, но вспоминая, признаю, что он правильно вмазал тогда ему. Заслужил и будет так вести себя, то прилетать ему будет знатно. Разочарован.
