Man, being a life long Devils fan, you gotta miss that grit and speed of Miles Wood on the bottom 6. What a pass and what a finish! Atta boy Miles
in my opinion, the only reason this game went to overtime is because the avs had a rest and weren't used to game speed, and georgie and the D core played sloppy. After that they shut down, and georgie made some amazing saves and our offense was clicking. We already won 1 on the road, so we're playing with house money in game 2.
What a comeback by the Avalanche! Georgie was awesome in overtime keeping Dallas from scoring with multiple shots on goal. A big win in Game 1 of the series on the road. Go AVS!!
I feel like the Avs just made a statement win coming back 3-0 in the first. If the Avs are going to get bounced, they ain't going to make it easy on their opponents.
The Avalanche are not the pushover the complacency ridden Golden Knights were. Series will go 7 but the Colorado team will prevail.
