  1. I for one am shocked that we once again didn’t win the lottery

Cayden Lindstrom/Konsta Helenius/who the hell knows given how up in the air this draft is after Celebrini hype watch I suppose

  2. lelander193

DIDNT GAIN, DIDNT FALL. HELL YEAH, 4TH OVERALL

  3. hockey17jp

We didn’t drop any well either get a nice dman or a good winger. We ride on.

  4. The-Power-Stone

Would love Cayden Lindstrom at 4. Get a real nice 1-2 punch with big physical center man to go along with our relatively small wingers. Fantilli, Lindstrom, and Sillinger down the middle makes centerpiece a big strength (literally) and they all fit that profile of big physical players who are still very skilled.

I can’t see Anaheim taking a forward unless they plan on moving Zegras so it could be a real possibility barring whatever Chicago does. Can’t really get a read until we hire a gm though.

What are the odds that it went in perfect pre-lottery order?

  6. hnglmkrnglbrry

I’m just glad that Bedard, Celebrini, and Carlsson are all out West along with McDavid and MacKinnon. Keep killing each other for us!

  7. How are we still getting excited about “it could be worse”? I’m fed up myself. The drop off from #1 is the largest in talent it’s been in a long time. Sigh.

  8. DIYCenturyGoaler

    Won twice:

    – Didn’t drop
    – Chicago didn’t win

  9. JAT_Cbus1080

Anyone else laugh when Bucci asked Celebrini if he looked at houses in a few cities on Zillow and Mack said “what’s Zillow?”. He moved off that one quick

  10. TheVideoGameManiac

We didn’t fall, Celebrini didn’t go to Chicago, I’m fine with this outcome.

  11. baconboyloiter

The two worst teams got the top two picks. Totally rigged guys!

  12. ChristyLovesGuitars

I’d like to think someday the Blue Jackets will actually move up in the draft. They say it’s possible.

  13. ShartRat

Kyle Davidson’s grin scared the shit out of me before the #1 pick got revealed. Happy for Sharks fans. Even though we didn’t move anywhere I am very happy this year with the results.

  14. MrThird312

I’ll take one top tier GM please, thank you

  15. Seattlekrakenlegend

Jesus Christ – 4th is fine, there’s still players that would fit our team and are great picks. This isn’t a bad outcome considering how likely it was we could fall.

Somehow there are still people here bitching and complaining.

ESPN, your production quality is embarrassing

  17. Total_Light_7885

This team will never ever get 1OA.

Even when they got Nash, it was an accident that the NHL probably would’ve changed if they could have.

  18. HermanBonJovi

I’m mostly shocked that Chicago didn’t #1. But still got #2, just missed 😂

  19. ChocolatDddy

So now the last 4 years we’ve picked 5th, 6th, 3rd and 4th. Embarrassing! Remind me why Davidson and Priest have jobs right now?

  20. Green9510

This is the best case scenario since didn’t win lotto. Draft goes chalk and the other 3 picks stays out west.

Basically we are gonna end up with a big boy! Lindstrom, Silayev or Dickinson are probably the 3 primary choices now as I see Demidov going to Chicago and Levshunov for the Ducks. We do know that Columbus expressed a fair amount of interest in Silayev.

Personally right now my 2 are Lindstrom or Silayev and personally we can’t go wrong with either.

  21. Lmao I wonder how mid the Draft Watch Party at Pins was just to see the lottery order go exactly as it was displayed at the end of the season.

There’s just something serially unfun about going and doing anything at Pins.

  22. CeleryAlternative805

It would have a neat story to see Celebrini join Bedard in Chicago.  Oh well….
