Not a Bruins fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I am a Morgan Geekie fan from his time in Seattle. I knew Seattle had some cap issues, and was bummed they couldn't put an offer together for him. I'm glad to see him having more playoff success, even with Boston. 😆

The final score was shocking I guess since I picked Bruins to upset in the first game 3-2 but my score was obviously completely incorrect. I do think the Panthers will bounce back in game 2 because this loss was so humiliating. Unless the Bruins really are the Legendary Super Saiyan and take care of business against a really good Panthers team. That would be quite shocking if that happens. You know those Panthers fans are worried.
When your keeper is hot in the playoffs, anything is possible. He has been an absolute wall and the Bruins might end up pulling off the upset because of it
teams that come off breaks always lose to teams who didn't get one it isn't that surprising. I sill think the cats win if they lose 4 then ill be surprised

I did not think Boston would be tired. I knew Boston would carry the momentum of game 7 and also have an emotional boost because Carlo had a kid. thought Florida would be a little rusty after not playing for so long but I didn’t think the game would be 5-1.

ullmark wasn't the problem game 2, that said Boston is in an extremely enviable position of having a veritable tandem tag team that can lean on one over the other. rest of team needs to not only meet the playoff moment the way both our goalies have, but keep consistent and focused, one game at a time, no resting on laurels, not period to period, nor game to game. but marking ullmark as game 2 "x factor" just bc it wasn't Swayman excuses everyone else not showing up for the guy. trust and take heart… having ullmark rested and waiting, chomping at the bit, is an undercover asset, not liability.

Yet every year people talk about how surprised they are that the team that had the break lost.
Panthers stop shooting directly at Swayman. Get Swayman caught out of position like Pasternak did to Samsonov in game 7 ot goal. And Bruins did score one on Panthers in same fashion. Come on step it up. And who wins this series could face even worse as Rangers are like a level above everyone.

It's pretty much a given in recent years that whoever eliminates Toronto is destined to make the cup final, so people shouldn't sleep on the Bruins.
